Dear CASD Families and Community,

We would like to invite you to attend a series of important community forums to discuss future educational opportunities within the district, including Kindergarten through 8th school consolidations and grade reconfigurations. Between two and five elementary schools would be consolidated depending on redistributing boundaries. Due to the timeline of these proposed changes, only parents/guardians with students currently in grades K-5 will likely be impacted.   After a decision is made this fall on a preferred path forward, there will be no impact on school attendance or grade configurations until the fall of 2027 or later. 

Each forum will begin with a 20-minute presentation, followed by an open Q&A session. All parents/guardians, students, and community members are encouraged to attend and give feedback. These forums are designed to ensure that we receive input as we explore these changes and their impact on our schools and community.

Community Forum Schedule:

• September 23rd at 7:00 PM - CAMS South Auditorium

• October 21st at 7:00 PM - Fayetteville Elementary School Gymnasium

• November 11th at 7:00 PM - CAMS North Auditorium

• December 9th at 7:00 PM - District Administration Building Board Room
