Dear CASD Elementary Families,

Each school day throughout the year is assigned a number (1-5) that indicates the special subject your student will attend that day, such as physical education, music, etc. In the event of an unplanned school cancellation, such as a snow day, the procedure for determining the numbered school day schedule has now changed. 

Previously, the school day number was skipped and the make-up day was assigned that number.  However, days will now be continuous.

For example, January 16 was scheduled to be day 3. As school was cancelled on that day, Wednesday, January 17th will now be day 3.
