  • Trojan Nation Future Special Educators Program

    The Chambersburg Area School District’s Special Education Department will work in collaboration with Chambersburg Senior High School and the Career Magnet School to create and facilitate the Trojan Nation Future Special Educators program. The vision of Trojan Nation Future Educators is to provide an opportunity to our students that allows them to experience the field of special education first hand.

  • October 11th CASHS Home Football Game - Enhanced Security Guidelines

    In a continued effort to improve safety and security, the district will pilot a new weapons detection system at all entrances to the CASHS Trojan stadium for the October 11th home game.

  • CASD Schools Receive "Wall of Freedom" Wall Hangings

    Each CASD school has received a “Wall of Freedom” wall hanging courtesy of Burt J. Asper, American Legion Post 46. On the poster, students, staff and visitors are able to reference The Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the national motto.

  • CASD Trojan Walk Raises Funds for Special Education

    The Chambersburg Area School District (CASD) held the second annual Trojan Walk fundraiser on Thursday, September 19, 2024. The event benefited the district’s special education programs, and was held in the Trojan Stadium at the Chambersburg Area Senior High School (CASHS).

  • Social Media Threat Update 09/11/24

    A social media threat reported via safe to say on September 10th was investigated and determined not to be credible within 4 hours thanks to CASD police and Pa State Police. Please see the post on the CASD website.  A second report that was sent in via Safe-to-Say today is also not a credible threat or concern. The picture being circulated was a stock photo from the web.

    The CASD Police Department, along with the PA State Police, investigated a threat posted on social media on 09/10/24. The investigation determined that there is no credible threat to student or staff safety.

    Stephanie Parrett, teacher at CASHS, has been recognized as a recipient of the 2024 Yale Educator Award by the Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

  • Kindergarten Kickstart Events - 2024/2025

    indergarten Kickstart events will be located at your incoming Kindergartener’s tentatively assigned school. There, you and your child will be able to see their school, meet Kindergarten teachers and other friendly faces of their school family, and learn important information about their transition to Kindergarten. Schools will be in touch with you regarding your child‘s assigned time for the Kindergarten Kickstart event.
