    Simple things you can do to help your child learn at home (from Colorín Colorado):

    • Talk, sing and read to your child.
    • Involve your extended family in encouraging your child to do well in school.
    • Limit screen time (TV, tablet, and phone).
    • Make sure your child does homework.
    • Have a positive attitude toward school and learning.
