Hello! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Michelle Wright. I am originally from Mechanicsburg, PA. I came to the Shippensburg area to attend Shippensburg University. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. I also completed the Master's program (Curriculum and Instruction-Early Childhood) at Shippensburg University. I believe in lifelong learning and that there is always something new to learn.
I currently live in Chambersburg with my husband Norm and our 3 year old daughter Savannah. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, reading, spending time outside, and eating ice cream. :)
Ever since I was in elementary school myself, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. This will be my 17th year teaching kindergarten at Hamilton Heights. I am very happy to be a part of Hamilton Heights. I am a strong believer in full-day kindergarten. The children learn so much in kindergarten and it is such a rewarding experience to watch each child learn and grow as the year progresses. I am looking forward to a great year in kindergarten!
