IMPORTANT BACK TO SCHOOL MESSAGE FROM MRS. SCHAEFFER
Welcome Back to School!!!
Just a few notes to start everyone off on the right foot for the 2024-25 school in 4th Grade at Hamilton Heights. I am looking forward to moving forward with the school year, and working with your child.
Here are a few things you can do right now to get prepared.
- Please make sure your contact information is current in Sapphire! If you are not sure how to access your account, please contact the office and they will be able to assist you.
- CLASSROOM ANNOUNCEMENTS: Download the Class Dojo App on your phone or electronic device. We will be using this platform in the fourth grade to communicate all general classroom announcements. This is also where I will post a home connections letter that breaks down the week's lessons, spelling words, and vocabulary to know. You will be receiving a paper with the information on how to join my Class Dojo classroom either at back to school night, or it will be sent home with your child on the first day of school. This is how I do 99% of my communicating with families! Please reach out if you are having trouble accessing it!
- ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS: In GOOGLE, download and/or locate the Google Classroom application on your phone or electronic device. If it is not there, you will need to go to the GOOGLE Play store and download it, it is free. You will also be able to link the email address you provide to Google Classroom to view your child's assignments and teacher feedback. You can set the preferences. I post many classroom materials that are related to our lessons on this platform as well as assignments for students to be completed in class.
