I taught third grade at Hamilton Heights for fourteen years, before moving to fourth grade in 2022.  I really LOVE teaching fourth graders!!!  When I am not teaching, I have many other activities I really like to do. My favorite pastime is reading, and I am in a monthly book club. I also love making crafts, cooking, and traveling with my family.  I have traveled to many places and love to share about my travels during social studies class.  

I live with my husband, Ysmaille, and two children (Xander and Amirah).  As a family we like to go on adventures, play games together, and watch movies.  Our favorite place to visit is in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University in 2002 and my Masters Degree in 2009.  Between those years I taught in Haiti for two years, taught for two years at a local private school, and subbed for a year, all before coming to Hamilton Heights.
