  • We are an Equal Opportunity Employer

The Chambersburg Area School District is an equal opportunity educational institution and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability, in its activities, programs, or employment practices as required by Title II of ADA, Title VI, Title IX, and Section 504.
  • Safety & Emergency Action Plans

The Chambersburg Area School District is committed to ensuring that our schools provide a safe and secure environment for each student, staff member, and visitor.

Each year CASD updates the emergency preparedness manual, which is then reviewed and approved by the appropriate administrators. Schools are required to practice monthly evacuation drills, as well as Code Red and Code Blue drills throughout the year. Each school establishes a crisis management team composed of school administrators and staff who receive basic and enhanced levels of emergency preparedness training, conducted by the Director of Security.
