Keeping parents informed and involved helps to assure student safety and improve student success. With today's on-the-go lifestyles, it has become increasingly difficult for schools to reach families quickly and effectively. This is why Chambersburg Area School District utilizes multiple tools to communicate information. The most up-to-date information can be found on our web site; however, the following tools may also be utilized.
Be one of the thousands of Chambersburg Area School District residents and alumni to have the CASD eNewsletter delivered to your inbox. This electronic newsletter highlights the latest student achievements, school board business, district happenings, and more. Click on the logo above to subscribe.
The CASD Employee eNewsletter is the district newsletter for administrators, teachers, and support staff.
One of our district goals is to improve communication. As a part of our ongoing efforts to do just that, the CASD has expanded its social media presence through the use of Twitter and a District-wide Facebook page. District happenings, highlights, upcoming events and general news will be regularly posted. Parents, students, staff and community members interested in district happenings are encouraged to follow us on FaceBook and Twitter @CASDNews.

CASD Concern Hotline
The Chambersburg Area School District is now offering a Concern Hotline for parents/guardians.
Messages can be left 24 hour a day, seven days a week, and will be returned Monday-Friday during normal business hours by a member of the CASD administration.
The hotline is NOT for emergency purposes.
Instant Notification System
School Messenger is an essential tool for notification and communication. Within minutes of emergency, school officials can use School Messenger to deliver a single, clear message to parents or guardians by way of an automated telephone message. School Messenger can also be used to notify you of school closings or delays due to inclement weather, and other major events. Information will continue to be communicated through our district web page, local radio/television stations, Twitter and Facebook.
This system will only work effectively if the contact information on file for your family is accurate. To verify your contact information, please call your child's school. To change the contact information, you must visit the school office and request a student information update form.
Important announcements pertaining to district events are available by telephone 24-hours a day.
