My name is Jennifer Weigand and I am the emotional support teacher for the upper elementary grades at Scotland Elementary School. This is my first year as a teacher. I recently graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and recently moved to the Chambersburg area.

I am so excited to build relationships with my students and their families throughout the year. My overall goal is for each student to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially in a classroom environment where they feel safe and welcomed. I can't wait to watch each student grow in all aspects this school year!
