My name is Alissa Bender and I am so proud to be a Scotland Scottie! I have my Pre/K-4 Elementary Education degree from Wilson College. 

After graduating, I taught 3rd and 5th grade at Fayetteville, and 3rd at Nancy Grayson in Shippensburg. I love teaching 4th grade here at Scotland Elementary. I currently teach ELA, Science/Social Studies, and SEL. 

I have been married for 4 years, we have a baby girl, and the sweetest Golden Retriever named June! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, kayaking, baking, and taking June on walks.
