Hello!  My name is Elise Bordner and I'm excited to be your child's 5th grade Band teacher this year.

I graduated from Messiah University (formerly Messiah College) in 2014 with my undergraduate degree in Music Education K-12. I also received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Messiah in 2018. 

Music is an important part of my life.  Outside of school, I teach piano lessons at Central Penn Music to students of all ages.  I serve as the Organist at Halifax United Methodist Church.  Recently, I have started working with the Cumberland Valley School of Music as the Music Director for the Winter Musical and as the summer conductor of the New Horizons Band.
