Hello there and welcome to another year at CASHS! I look forward to getting into the nitty-gritty of the year and enjoying all that is to come in the upcoming year. For those of you who do not know me, let me take a moment to introduce myself.

First thing is first, my name is Mrs. Melissa Whetzel and I have been teaching since 2012. I graduated from Shippensburg High School in 2006 and attended Bloomsburg University. Currently, I am working towards a Master’s in Education through Shippensburg University.

For the last nine years I taught multiple English and History classes at Fannett-Metal High School.

In class, I rely on several apps and programs. For communication, ask me for the Remind codes or to be added to the Remind class. I send out daily messages with homework, upcoming assignments, quizzes, projects, study links,  and I’ve been know to send out special extra credit opportunities!
