Hello and welcome to Marion Elementary School located in the Chambersburg Area School District.  My name is Dr. Pollock, and I am the principal of both Marion Elementary School and Andrew Buchanan Elementary School  I would like to welcome you to our school family!

Marion is one of 13 elementary schools in the Chambersburg Area School District.  We are a two-deep elementary building located on the south end of Chambersburg, and our new completely rebuilt campus was opened in 2016. Our bus and car riders may enter the school building at 8:45. All students must be in the building prior to 9:00. Dismissal is at 3:30 and all car riders are provided a number that should be placed on your windshield, clearly in view when picking up your student. 

Families dropping off students after the 9:00 start time or picking up students prior to our 3:30 dismissal should come to the office entrance. Please ring the bell outside and someone will be with you as soon as they can. Families are required to sign their student(s) in and out of school when arriving after 9:00 and/or leaving before 3:30. A note is also required.  Only those listed on a student’s emergency contact may pick a student up during school hours. ID must be shown.

Attendance is of utmost importance for your student(s) to grow during their school age career.  Please make sure to know and understand the District Attendance Policy and regulations.  All absences, tardies and early dismissals must be documents with parent/guardian written communication and must be deemed “excusable” under the State guidelines.
