Welcome!

My name is Heidi Bound and I am teaching 8th grade Earth Science this year on Team C!  I have spent most of my career in the education field in both the Maryland and Pennsylvania systems.  I started my career in Special Education, teaching Earth and Space science in high school in the Maryland system for five years.  After a leave of absence to raise my own children, I returned to Special Education, but at the early intervention level, working with families and their toddlers.  After five years in EI, I decided to return to the classroom and the realm of science which I so love.  I joined the Chambersburg Area School District last year at the high school in Special Education, but really missed teaching science.  I transferred to CAMS this summer so I could return to the science classroom which is my passion.  I am looking forward to an exciting school year where we explore this amazing planet of ours from the inside out!
