A native of Fayetteville, I am the third generation of my family who attended the former Fayetteville Elementary school, which was replaced by our current building in 2007. I am wife and a mother to four handsome young men ages 26-17. Teaching is a second career for me, although it has always been my passion. Following a life event in 2011, I returned to college to get my teaching degree. During this time, I began working for Chambersburg Area School District as a lunch aide, here at Fayetteville. I began working with students with Autism in 2013 as a Personal Care Aide at CAMS South. I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Wilson College in 2015 but continued to work in an Autistic Support Classroom until I was hired as an Autism Teacher for Berkeley County Schools in Martinsburg, WV. In 2017, I had the opportunity to return to teaching in Pennsylvania for Lincoln Intermediate Unit as an Autistic Support Teacher at Lincoln Elementary in the Gettysburg School District. In the summer of 2018, I was given the opportunity to return home to Fayetteville Elementary and the Chambersburg School Area District! I am so excited to be here at Fayetteville Elementary!
