Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited to be working with you and your child this year. 

I graduated from Shippensburg University in 2011 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I did substitute teaching in both Big Spring and Shippensburg School District. In 2012 I took a job with Franklin County Head Start where I served as a Pre-K Education Coordinator for 5 years, supervising several Pre-K classrooms in the Chambersburg School District. In the Fall of 2017 I became the Director at the Merakey Education Center in Chambersburg, PA. I spent the past two years teaching 5th grade at Hamilton Heights but I could not be more excited to return to my roots and join the Kindergarten team!  

My husband I just got married in Feburary 2020, right before COVID thankfully! I have 1 biological son (who is off to Kindergarten this year too) and 2 step daughters and 1 step son! I love animals and reside with 3 dogs (Black Jack, Bandit & Frisco) and 1 cat (Snowball). We have created a beautiful blended family. I love reading, writing and going on adventures with my family. The beach is my favorite getaway...there is nothing better than sitting on the beach with a book in your hands.
