I am pleased to be in my fifth year at Scotland Elementary School as the Emotional Support teacher for the primary grades. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from George Mason University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia. Throughout my 14 years of teaching I have served as an Intervention Specialist, Special Education Teacher, and Lead Special Education Teacher. My heart is in teaching and I value the relationships I build with students and their families. It is my goal to educate the whole child; academically, socially, and emotionally. Watching the students I work with grow throughout the year is one of the greatest joys of my job!
