Hello! I am Mrs. Bennett and I began teaching at CAMS-South in February 2014. I am orignally from Bucks County, PA and moved toward Central Pennsylvania while earning my Bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University. I graduated from Ship in May 2011 with a B.A. in English Education/Reading. I also hold a Masters Degree from Saint Joseph's University in Special Education. Additionally, I specialize in the Wilson Reading System.
Prior to teaching at CAMS-South, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with adjudicated youth at Abraxas Youth & Family Services in South Mountain, PA. In January 2014, I graduated with my Master's of Science in Special Education. Recently, I finished my Prinicpal/Adminstrator certificate from Shippensburg University with future plans to move into Special Education adminstration.
During my free time, I love to read, travel (habits of growing up in the military), collect vintage comic books, spend time with my younger brother and husband, and cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles during football season!
I got married in July 2019 and am more commonly known as Ms. Spicer.
If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me! I look forward to working with your student in the future!
