I will be using Class Dojo in all of my classes this year.

While Dojo is a reward system for behaviors,

I use it more for contact with parents

and sharing what the students have been learning.

If you did not get a chance to sign up for dojo

with your child's teacher, please contact me so I can

add you to the correct classroom for music.

We are having a great year at South Hamilton , Lurgan and Falling Spring. Please note the day your child has music above. Sneakers are recommended for music days as we sometimes do extensive movement activities, especially in primary.
Parents...We only meet for music once every 5 days in the school cycle. Music is only held a maximum of 9 times per marking period versus the 45 days in a regular education classroom. Therefore, growth and retention of knowledge take longer than in the regular education classroom.
If you're looking for something to do on a rainy day, remember to visit the music links for some fun computer games.

RECORDERS

  • SchoolCenter PictureIMPORTANT!!!

Recorders WILL be needed for grades 3, 4 and 5.

Students are responsible for practicing their recorder assignments and bringing their instrument to class every week. They should "live" in your backpacks!
