The district recently purchased a new, advanced transportation routing system to keep our bus routes running as efficiently as possible. Stopfinder is the specialized app that comes with this new system, offering our families an improved, user-friendly experience for managing school transportation.

While our Parent Portal is great for general student information, it isn’t built to handle the complexities of school transportation. It is unable to display specialized schedules like bus transfers, split-custody routing, or multi-level family stops.

Stopfinder is designed specifically for school transportation, allowing it to easily manage those unique schedules. Plus, it unlocks powerful new features you can't get in the portal, such as real-time bus arrival/departure alerts for both stops and schools, and instant notifications from our team regarding early or delayed routes.

No, all transportation schedules and route details will now be published exclusively through the Stopfinder app. Because student enrollment and addresses change daily, bus routes and times are constantly adjusting.

Email updates quickly become outdated, but Stopfinder syncs directly with our system to display accurate, real-time information the moment a change is made. Additionally, the app gives you full control to easily share this live, up-to-date tracking info with caregivers or other family members.

Stopfinder is a mobile app that can be downloaded to any iOS or Android-enabled device and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store at no cost to the families.

Tap the ellipses menu on the upper right-hand corner of the student card for the student you wish to share. Tap Share Schedule on the menu that opens at the bottom of the screen. Enter the required fields on the Share Schedule screen and tap Share in the upper right corner.

One account will allow you to view multiple children at the same time or in different schools.

To edit or remove a shared subscription, tap the Settings icon in the lower right-hand side of the app and select Manage Subscribers. Click on the menu next to the shared subscription and use the Disable Access menu item to prevent the selected sub subscriber from viewing student schedule information.

Parents should contact their child's school to report the issue.  When parents need to change their address, the schools are the primary point of contact to update this information.  That information will flow to Transportation that will update the information.

Stopfinder is available at no cost to all families in any school district that has purchased the service. That’s right, it’s free for unlimited accounts for families! That means grandparents, babysitters, neighbors, and friends can share the data.

The Stopfinder app is secure and protected. Access to parents or guardians is only granted to those that have permission from the school transportation department.
