Who can register:
The biological parent, adoptive parent, or court appointed guardian may enroll a student.
How do I register?
When you have completed all questions on every page, uploaded all documents, and are ready to submit your registration, please note that on page 15 you MUST scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Submit Registration to Chambersburg Area School District. If you forget to finalize this step, your registration does not get pushed into our pending registrations area.
Additionally, please email registration@casdonline.org with your student's name and birth date to notify us that your registration has been submitted and is ready for review. Please note that this email address is not monitored for correspondence and cannot receive responses. If you have questions regarding the registration process or need to communicate directly with the Student Registrar, please email katie.andrade@casdonline.org. Thank you!
What do I need to finalize a student's registration?
*A Completed Online Registration, with the following documents uploaded:
• Proof of Age: Birth certificate; notarized copy of birth certificate; baptismal certificate; copy of the record of baptism – notarized or duly certified and showing the date of birth; notarized statement from the parents or another relative indicating the date of birth; a valid passport; a prior school record indicating the date of birth.
• Proof of Residency in the Chambersburg Area School District: The Pennsylvania Department of Education has updated the Enrollment of Students Basic Education Circular (BEC) to comply with Act 47 of 2025. Acceptable proof of residency includes a current deed, mortgage statement or lease, as well as bills or official documents dated within the past three months such as utility, internet, credit card, or bank statements, tax or insurance documents, or government-issued mail (e.g., benefits, voter registration or tax correspondence). Address must be within Chambersburg Area School District.
• Record of Immunizations: State law requires that a complete record of immunizations be provided. You can get a copy of your child’s health records from the school you are leaving. Shot records are also available from your doctor’s office. Please note that exceptions will be made for students displaced by natural disasters.
