PA School Meal Initiatives
For this upcoming school year, 2024-2025, there has been a continuation of the Universal Free Breakfast Initiative. This means no student will be charged for a complete (Reimbursable) breakfast at any of our schools.

Also, for this school year, 2024-2025, there is an initiative continuing, that allows any student that qualifies as Reduced to not be charged for their complete (Reimbursable) lunch.

Both of these initiatives will not cover any additional items for student purchase. These items will be charged to the students' account and money needs to be available on their account.

The Food Service Operation is responsible for the operation of cafeterias in the Chambersburg Area School District's 17 buildings including, the Franklin County Career and Technology Center, and the Franklin Learning Center.
