Since the fall of 2024 we have been researching various calendars. We partnered with PTO/A, created a calendar committee made up of staff and parents, held two public forums and shared lots of ideas.

The CASD Summer Feeding Program starts Monday, June 9th and runs through July! All children 18 years and younger can eat for free Monday through Thursday.

We are excited to welcome your student to Chambersburg Area Senior High School (CASHS) for Freshman Orientation Day on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM. This special day is dedicated exclusively to incoming freshmen who plan to attend CASHS in the fall, giving them a chance to explore the high school, meet new classmates, and ease into the transition before the rest of the student body arrives.
The Chambersburg Area School District (CASD) and the Chambersburg Area Education Foundation (CAEF) are excited to announce the 2025 update of their comprehensive alumni directory project in partnership with Publishing Concepts Inc. (PCI), a trusted directory publisher. This initiative is designed to reconnect with CASD alumni, celebrate their achievements, and strengthen ties within the Trojan community.

Tiny Trojan Registration is open for the 2025-2026 school year!
Our goal is to provide a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for every child and to prepare them for kindergarten.
Students must turn 4 by October 1, 2025. Classes will run Monday through Friday:
Tentative hours: 8:45 am - 10:15 am
Cost: FREE

On Thursday, April 24, CASHS hosted a community K–12 English as a Second Language (ESL) Title I Event. Nearly 200 attendees engaged in activities created by Shippensburg University students for K–6 learners. Families enjoyed raffle prizes, free books, take-home crafts, and face painting. A special thank you to Texas Roadhouse for donating 150 meals for our guests.
