About Mrs. Rydbom
Hello! My name is Michelle Rydbom! I am a 2001 graduate of the Chambersburg Area School District and a 2005 graduate of The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
I received my Master's Degree in 2007 in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University.
I began my teaching career in 2005 in the Waynesboro Area School District and taught kindergarten at Hooverville Elementary for two years. I came to the
Chambersburg Area School District in 2007 and taught kindergarten for three years at Grandview Elementary School! I then taught first grade at this same school for ten years before switching to third grade in 2020. I am currently the Title I Instructional Specialist at Grandview, servicing kindergarten through fifth-grade students with additional support in the areas of reading and math.
I have been married for many years to my wonderful husband, Chad, and have two fantastic children, Madelyn and Mason! I also have two adorable dogs named Lexi and Barkley. They love to play with their toys! Our family loves to travel to the beach and attend Penn State football games! (Even though I am a Pitt graduate, I grew up
watching PSU so I love to cheer for both teams!)
