• COLOR GUARD & DRILL TEAM

                                               

    The Drill Team and Color Guard are comprised of Naval Science II and above cadets who are hand selected by the Naval Science Instructor. The team meets daily during 4th period and is a class offered in addition to Naval Science II, III, or IV. Membership on the team requires the highest levels of positive attitude, behavior, discipline, and personal drive. The Drill Team and Color Guard serve as one of the JROTC's most visible entities, due to their personal commitment to the self-discipline required for drill excellence, are often requested to represent Chambersburg Area Senior High School and our unit at events that may include VIP’s and media attention.

    • Drill Team participation is co-ed and open to all cadets.
    • Team members travel extensively to national level competitions. The team has seen travel to Delaware, New York, and New Jersey.
    • Drill Team members are considered highly competitive students within the JROTC and are looked upon favorably for leadership positions within the program.
