  • Making music brings me great joy and I love sharing that with my students.

I believe that music is for all students.
My goal is to promote lifelong music participation and learning.

I believe music is universal beyond boundaries, cultures, and time.
My students will be exposed to and perform a wide variety of music from different time periods, different cultures, and a variety of styles.

I believe music reaches and teaches.
I strive to reach my students through the music while teaching them the culture and time from which it came.

I believe all students, with desire and hard work, can learn to sing or play an instrument.
If you want to sing (or play the piano), I want to teach you.

I believe if you want to be good at anything, you've got to practice.
