• Technical Design & Prototyping

  • The Technical Design & Prototyping course is an elective course for 9th thru 12th graders. It is a semester course worth .5 credits. It is recommended for students who are advanced in math and science.

    Technical Design and Prototyping is the STEM course at CASHS which emphasizes the connections between Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

    Students work in teams to design and build model structures and/or vehicles that are scientifically tested to rate their performance. Students are also  engaged in the research and development of prototype products that are designed to solve an identified problem and/or fulfill a human need.
