My Family and Background
I grew up and went to the Chambersburg School District. While in highschool I was actively involved in clubs, academic organizations, and sports. I went on to play basketball in college for the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
I now have a husband named Ryan, a son named Connor, a daughter named Emma and two golden retrievers named Tanner and Kay. I have been teaching first grade since 2006.
Why I teach
I love teaching because I love seeing the potential every student has. I also enjoy getting to know my students and seeing them become more confident in their abilities. I love to watch the growth they make throughout the year.
There are a few things I expect in my classroom and live by in life. The most important of those is RESPECT.
