    Elementary Summer Learning Program (SLP)

    Chambersburg Area School District will host a three-week elementary Summer Learning Program as an intervention to bridge the learning gaps created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is available to all CASD students currently enrolled in grades K through 5 who want or need reinforcement in math and reading concepts. This program is being offered at no cost to families.

    Elementary Summer Learning Program 2022 Dates:  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM 

    Monday, June 13 through Thursday, June 16 (no sessions on Friday)

    Monday, June 20 through Thursday, June 23 (no sessions on Friday)

    Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30 (no sessions on Friday)


    Hamilton Heights Elementary School 

    Fayetteville Elementary School 

    In most cases, the student’s location will be the closer of the two buildings to the student’s registered address. Final determination will be made by the transportation department.


    Students will be picked up at hub locations across the district. Specific details regarding hub stop locations, bus numbers, and pickup/drop off times will be emailed the week of June 6.  

    Food and Drinks:

    Breakfast and lunch is available at no cost for all students. Students may bring their own water bottles.
