Xello is an all encompassing program that teaches students essential skills and knowledge regarding the career world. Students have the opportunity to explore roles and responsibilities of different careers as well as how their personal interests relate to career opportunities. Students in grades K - 2 are faced with the challenge of workers in Career Town have gone missing. Students explore the roles of workers in Career Town and locate where the workers have been taken. Grades 3 - 5 are presented a variety of missions to explore how their interest and favorite school subjects relate to jobs in the community. Students also investigate the importance of social skills and teamwork to solve the presented missions. Students in grades 6 - 12 take a more in depth look at career options, requirements of careers, and how to prepare to enter the workplace. Students complete lessons based on their interests and background experiences to determine the best path to career success.
