  • Parents and families play an important and unique role in the support, development and success of a student.  The Chambersburg Area School District will partner with families and the community to prepare all students for success as responsible citizens and lifelong learners.  Parents are encouraged to visit your child's school and web site to gain important information and become involved.

    Student Transportation

    The mission of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, timely, efficient transportation that contributes to a positive learning environment through staff committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Testing

    The District's main testing resource is the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment. The test results are utilized by the District in determing new school and classroom programs, resources and teaching strategies.
     
    The Pennsylvania Department of Education(PDE) website has many resources for parents and students including what the tests measure, past performance, and preparing for the PSSA.
     
    The PDE has launched a new website called PA Grow.   On this website, students and parents can find more information about how to help students develop better study skills and tips for taking standardized tests.
