Chambersburg Area School District is excited to begin our Summer Program on Monday, June 10, 2024.  An email has been sent to all email addresses used for registration and high school students' CASD email accounts.  You will receive a separate email for each course for which your student is registered. 

Students must pick up a CASD-issued Chromebook and charger on Monday, June 10 at the District Administration Office (443 Stanley Avenue - former tax office).  Chromebooks can be picked up anytime between 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  This day is for Chromebook pick-up only; students should NOT plan to stay to work on their coursework on Monday. Students may use their personal devices to complete their coursework; however, CASD is not able to troubleshoot technology issues with personal devices. 

The secondary program kicks off VIRTUALLY on June 11 at 9:00 AM. Students should NOT report in-person on this day.  Attendance is mandatory through Google Meet for the virtual sessions on June 11. After June 11, students are REQUIRED to check in with their teachers weekly, either virtually or in-person. Students may continue to complete their courses virtually, but they are encouraged to come into the District Administration Office to work with their teachers if they are struggling with their coursework. Teachers are available from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Monday - Thursday.  Please ask your teacher for details.  Please click this link to view the summer program calendar. 

Students will complete their coursework through Edgenuity.  Students should use their Google waffle on their Chromebook to access Edgenuity.  The courses will be available on students’ dashboards by Tuesday morning. 

All courses must be completed by 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 11.  Students should stay on target progress by using the pacing guide in Edgenuity.  Students may work on their coursework independently any day of the week (Sunday - Saturday).  Students will be dropped from their summer courses after one week of inactivity. 

Chromebooks and chargers MUST be returned to the District Administration Office by July 15.  Students WILL NOT receive credit for their completed coursework until the CASD-issued Chromebook and charger are returned.
