I am looking forward to working with your child this year and building a positive foundation of love for learning.

I am from Chambersburg, PA and grew up in the CASD. From a very young age, I knew that teaching would be my career. I was lucky enough to have had some amazing elementary teachers that engraved a love for learning in me and taught me that education truly is the key to success.

I graduated from Shippensburg University in 2012 with my K-6 certification and continued on my journey. I began working at South Hamilton in 2014 as a long-term substitute ESL teacher. I learned early on that I loved teaching English as a Second Language and there was something challenging, yet very rewarding about working with English Language Learners. I continued my career at Stevens Elementary as a K-2 ESL teacher. This part of my journey taught me so much about myself and the importance of looking at each child as an individual. During my time at Stevens, I received my Master's Degree in General Education. After completing this degree, I moved to Kindergarten at South Hamilton and I am so excited to be here!

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, scrapbook my memories, and go for walks and bike rides.
