Welcome to Miss Webster's Third Grade Class!

    Dear Parents and Students:

          I hope you had a nice summer vacation!  My name is Kelly Webster and I will be your child's homeroom, math, science and social studies teacher. Mr. Varner is paired with me this school year, since third grade is four deep.  Mr. Varner will be teaching your child ELA and writing.  We are looking forward to a great school year!

         Open House is on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.  I look forward to meeting you at this time.  You will leave with important information and forms that need to be completed at Open House.  I am looking forward to meeting you and your child.

         Third grade uses DOJO.  We also communicate through email, phone calls, and letters/handouts that go home in your child's red folder.  It is important to check your child's red folder every evening for homework and returned assignments and important handouts.

Third Grade Supply List:

1 - zippered, soft pencil pouch with the following contents: - 16 or 24 count pack of crayons/colored pencils - 1 highlighter (any color) - 4 black dry-erase markers - 1 dry-eraser (or a clean, old sock) - 1 pair of 4-inch kid safety scissors - 1 pack of regular pencils - 2 block erasers - 1 glue stick Chromebook, charger, case, and headphones/earbuds will stay at school at all times. They will not be going home this year. **Your child may bring a water bottle to school. However, we ask that the water bottle is plastic (no metal water bottles).**

12:20 - 12:50 p.m. Recess

12:50  - 1:20 p.m.  Lunch

1:20  -  2:00 p.m.   Special      (Day 1 Gym, Day 2 Library, Day 3 Art, Day 4 No Special, Day 5 Music)

2:00 - 2:45 p.m.  Science/Social Studies with Miss Webster

2:45 - 3:25 p.m.  Writing with Mr. Varner

3:30 p.m.             Dismissal
