• About me :)

I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a dual degree in Special Education and Elementary Education.  This Fall I will be continuing my education by taking classes at Shippensburg University to working towards a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood.  After graduation at Slippery Rock I spent three years teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada, which I loved.  My husband and I moved back east after my son was born where I spent the past few years as a stay at home mom. I am married and have three children, which means I spend a tremendous amount of time in the car running to swimming lessons, the library, and to the soccer fields. That's often where you will see me so make sure to say hello. I worked at Scotland Elementary as a long-term substitute Learning Support teacher in 2012 and was very excited to start out my CASD career there for the past 6 years.  This year, I am excited to begin a new adventure at Marion as a Learning Support teacher. Although I went to Slippery Rock my favorite college team is the University of Alabama, which you will see if you have ever been in my room-Roll Tide!!
