“The Food Service Staff continues to work in safe and sanitary conditions to prepare and provide meals to our students. Every day we follow FDA Food Safety standards of frequent and thorough hand washing, wearing gloves and hairnets and not reporting to work if sick. Students enrolled in these locations receive breakfast and lunch at no cost to the student.
Additional items or snacks would require funds to be in a students account.
The Food Service Operation is responsible the operation of cafeterias in the Chambersburg Area School District's 17 buildings including, the Franklin County Career and Technology Center, the Franklin Learning Center, and several Head Start Programs.
Food Service Staff work to ensure that all school programs are compliant with local, state and federal regulations.
