The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme
Chambersburg Area Senior High School is one of 18 high schools in Pennsylvania to be offering the IB Diploma Programme. The IB Programme offers a continuum of courses that is holistic and challenging for the highly motivated student. Through the DP, students gain rigorous and balanced academic preparation, while learning how to think critically and apply what they have learned in different contexts.
CASHS offers the Diploma Programme to CASHS' 11th and 12th grade students. Our first cohort graduated in May 2017 . The Programme is only offered to students at CASHS and are taught by certified IB trained teachers.
A CASHS student may choose to enroll in the full Diploma Programme or take specific IB courses.
The IB offers an internationally recognized curriculum that promotes international mindedness and is designed to prepare students for their university experience and beyond.
