    What is CVA?  

    Chambersburg Virtual Academy is a fully equipped, K-12 educational program taught by PA certified teachers.  We are proud to offer the flexibility of a virtual learning environment with asynchronous and synchronous activities.

    This virtual learning program is open to all students (K-12) in the Chambersburg Area School District. CVA utilizes online learning platforms to deliver instruction. Some of the online platforms used in the CVA program are Edgenuity, eDynamic Learning, Google Classroom, Open Court Reading, Eureka Math, StudySync, and IXL. Teachers may use additional learning platforms, as needed.     

    CVA offers:

    • A flexible learning environment for students

    • Daily live lessons with CASD teachers

    • Text translation tools and read-aloud components

    • Reports showing attendance, activity, progress, and mastery

    • An in-person learning center for students to receive in-person support from their teachers (CVA Central)

    • A Chambersburg Area School District high school diploma
