Chambersburg Area Virtual Education (CAVE) is a fully equipped, K-12 educational program taught by PA certified teachers. We are proud to offer the flexibility of a virtual learning environment with asynchronous and synchronous activities.
This virtual, online-only learning program is open to all students (K-12) in the Chambersburg Area School District. CAVE utilizes online learning platforms known as learning management systems (LMS). Some of the online platforms used in the CAVE program are Edgenuity, Odysseyware, Google Classroom, IXL, and eDynamic Learning. Teachers may use additional learning platforms, as needed.

A flexible learning environment for students
Daily live lessons
Lessons that can be completed within a virtual schedule that "fits" students and their families
Language accommodations that includes text translation, coupled with read-aloud components
Reports showing attendance, activity, progress, and mastery
